The One: Paperback
The One is Alexandria’s debut novella.
In the beginning, so it goes, humans were too powerful. But how do you check them? Bring them back into line? Subdue them?
Apparently, you cut them in half.
They spend the rest of their lives wandering around looking for their other half. Their soulmate. The One, with a capital “O” who completes them.
Jess thought Michael had meant his vows a year ago. As far as unmarried them could understand what they were promising each other. Maybe things had changed. Or maybe they just had different interpretations of what had been promised. Either way, the fear of their differences being unfix-able was slowly making way in Jess' mind for the thought that this might be just a bump in the road that they'd look back on and joke about in fifty years.
Hopefully.
